Hello and welcome back to our new tutorial. Today, we are going to draw a beautiful Sunflower in a simple and very easy way. This tutorial includes a simple detailed outline drawing of Sunflower with step by step explanation. The above image represents your outline of Sunflower which we are going to draw below. NOTE:

While drawing, makes sure to use your pen or pencil lightly, especially for rough drawing. Additionally, erase some of the outlines when and where required. Follow the instructions carefully and don't skip any of the steps.

Step 1: DRAWING THE DISC FLORET (inner petals)

To draw disc floret that is inner flower petals, first draw the circle.
After that, draw the free-hand wavy circle to the outermost of the circle.

Step 2: DRAWING THE RAY FLORET (outer petals)

To draw ray floret that is outer flower petals – first, start with the front petals.
Draw the petals on the wavy circle as highlighted below.

Step 3: DRAWING OUTER PETALS

Now, draw the petals behind the front one.
And this is going to be middle layer petals.

Step 4: DRAWING OUTER PETALS

After completing the middle layer petals, now comes to the backward petals.
To draw the back side petals, use conical lines as shown below in black.

Step 5: DRAWING THE HATCHING LINES AT THE CENTER OF THE SUNFLOWER

For the hatching method – first, draw the vertical curved lines.
Then draw the horizontal curved lines at the center of the circle.
To do this, use your free hand while drawing lines.

Step 6: DRAWING THE POLLEN OF THE SUNFLOWER

Draw pollen by using small circles, curves at the outer part of the circle.
And in the wavy circle as highlighted below.

Step 7: DRAWING THE STEM AND THE LEAVES

First, draw the stem of the sunflower.
Then, draw the upper leaf.
After that, draw the lower one leaf.

Step 8 (final): DRAWING THE ANOTHER LEAF

After drawing the two leaves now, draw the third leaf.
Draw the third leaf bigger than the second leaf
Hurry! you have completed your drawing of the sunflower.
